Welcome
to the home of 'Fallschirmjäger 1939-45, Living
History Group'. Created in its present form in 2008 around a
core of members who had been enthusiastic Fallschirmjager
reenactors for 8 years. The aim of our group is to portray
the German paratroop forces of WWII from the invasion of Crete
until the fall of Germany, with the use of reproduction weapons
uniforms and equipment combined with research of period
documents and photographs.
Members
of the group come from all parts of the UK and many different
backgrounds. We have some ex and currently serving military
personnel within the group, along with other members who have a
long standing historical interest in the German forces of WWII.
The focus of the group is to portray the frontline soldier of
the Fallschirmjäger in all theatres.
Fallschirmjäger 39-45 is a Historical hobby group and has no interest
in right wing or Nazi politics.
